What is a Peri-apical X-ray?
Peri-apical X-ray is a 2-dimensional dental x-ray used for individual teeth. It is taken with a small digital sensor inside the mouth.
What is a Panorex X-ray?

What is a Cone Beam CT Scan (CBCT)?
Cone Beam CT Scan (CBCT) is a 3-dimensional x-ray that provides cross-sectional views of the teeth and supporting bone structures. It provides the most accurate diagnosis for various dental conditions. It is used for dental implant planning, bone grafting, some third molar surgeries, and any other procedures where an accurate image is required for diagnosis and planning. The image is taken with a CBCT machine that goes around the head.
