Doctors

Dr. H. Ryan Kazemi is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He received his dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1990.

Following a one-year internship at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, he pursued surgical training at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC, where he received his certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Dr. Sanaz Vahid is a highly trained periodontist. She completed her residency in periodontics at the University of Pittsburgh and received her doctorate of dental surgery from University of Maryland. Throughout her education, she has demonstrated strong technical and clinical skills and a passion for taking care of patients with professionalism, responsibility, and reliability they expect. She is a delightful and charismatic individual and a fantastic clinician. As a periodontist, Dr. Vahid will complement our services with management of periodontal disease, soft and hard tissue management, and dental implant treatments. She will also join our circle of forum leaders at The Facialart Dental Forum.

Located in downtown Bethesda, MD, our office provides a warm and inviting atmosphere for optimal patient comfort and experience. Our blue wing is for patient reception and routine oral surgery procedures and our purple wing is dedicated to dental implant and tissue regeneration procedures. Both wings are equipped with treatment rooms, recovery rooms, and latest dental and surgical technology and equipment.

Our 'Why'

I started this practice with a dream: to create a different kind of experience for patients and our professional colleagues.

After I completed my surgical training in 1995, I worked as an associate for several oral surgery practices. The surgeons I worked for were exceptionally skilled doctors, but I quickly sensed that something was missing. Personal care and empathy for patients seemed lacking, and patients’ satisfaction suffered.

How We Got Started

We were delighted to join a team of dentists from DC on a mission to Jordan From September 8-15, 2017 and reached out and help the many Syrian families now living in one of several refugee camps. Check our journey on instragram @kazemioralsurgery
