How do I find out the cost of surgery?
The cost for any surgery depends on the type of procedure, its complexity, necessary additional procedures, and choice of anesthesia. Cost of surgery is based on the the recommended and desired treatment plan to address your needs. This can only be done with an accurate diagnosis and evaluation. Without proper diagnosis and recommended plan to meet your needs, it is difficult if not impossible to know the cost. The best way to find out the cost is to have an evaluation.
What should I bring with me for my appointment?
Fees, payment options, and financial matters are discussed during your evaluation appointment to help you prepare for your desired surgery. If you are planning for surgery on the same day as your evaluation, please come prepared with a form of payment which is due on day of service. Come prepared with you credit card, check, or cash as well as any insurance information that might be used for obtaining your benefit.
Can I do financial planning on the same day as surgery?
If you do not require extensive financial planning, then it is possible to have your evaluation and surgery on the same day. If you need special assistance, such as insurance benefits, payment plans, etc., then we recommend a separate evaluation appointment. Financial planning can be time consuming, so it would be better to complete it on a different day than your surgery.
What forms of payment is accepted?
We accept credit cards, checks (with two forms of ID), Cash, and travelers check. If you have been approved for long term payment plans, then you do not need to bring any payments for your surgery. The financial company will take care of your fees on day of surgery.
