A solution for patients with severe maxillary bone loss / atrophy who may not be a candidate for bone grafting…… Zygomatic and Pterygoid dental implants in conjunction with conventional implants in the anterior to provide fixed support for full-arch restorations.

 

The Treatment

Patient with advanced maxillary bone loss who did not want extensive bone grafting procedures. Zygomatic, pterygoid, and conventional dental implants were planned for support of a full-arch restoration. Following 3-D computer-assisted planning, surgical guides were fabricated for precise implant placement. An immediate transitional restoration was placed on day of implants placement. The final restoration was delivered 4 months later.
