Do you do dental procedures?
No. Dr. Kazemi and our office are specialized in performing oral and maxillofacial surgery procedures only. This is our area of expertise and we focus 100% on those procedures. For dental or restorative procedures, we work with a team of very talented and skilled general dentists and other types of specialists. We will be happy to make a referral. Use the request form to ask for a dentist referral.
Do you accept insurance?
We are not a member provider with any insurance plans, however most plans provide the same benefits regardless of whether you see an in-network or out-of-network oral surgeon. Your out of pocket expense will be the same or only slightly different. Therefore, it is always best to choose an oral surgeon based on your dentist’s recommendations, your comfort, and confidence rather than simply on insurance membership. For more details see the Fees and Insurance section.
Do you treat kids?
Yes. We see many children for oral surgery procedures including extraction of baby teeth, trauma, infections, or other oral and facial conditions. The team is highly skilled and patience when it comes to treating kids and provide unique approaches in treatment that makes their experience wonderful. We also provide IV, IM, and nitrous oxide sedation for kids and they are treated quite safely with any of these options. Dr. Kazemi has extensive training in pediatric anesthesia.
Do you offer anesthesia?
Yes, we offer IV sedation, nitrous oxide sedation, and of course local anesthesia. Office is equipped and licensed for IV sedation procedures in state of Maryland and has passed tough facility and provider criteria to receive such privileges. Dr. Kazemi is also anesthesia trained and followed strict hospital guidelines to provide anesthesia routinely and very safely.

Yes, there are plenty of parking. There is street parking as well as outdoor and indoor parking right next to the office. There are meters which can be managed using your cell phone. They are tough with parking tickets here, so be aware of your meter times and rules.
How many doctors are there?
Dr. Kazemi is the only oral surgeon practicing and all surgeries are performed strictly by him. He has several assistants that help him during procedures. There are never any other doctors other than Dr. Kazemi who will be seeing you.
