What procedures do you perform?
Wisdom teeth extractions, teeth extractions, dental implants, bone grafting for implants, anesthesia, canine exposures, biopsies, crown lenghthening, corrective jaw surgery, management of infection, oral surgery in children, orthodontic-related surgeries, oral and facial trauma, chin and cheek implants, botox, and TMJ evaluation.

Do you do dental procedures?
No, our office specializes in performing oral and maxillofacial surgery procedures only. This is our area of expertise, and we focus 100% on those procedures. For dental or restorative procedures, we work with a team of very talented and skilled general dentists and other types of specialists. We will be happy to make a referral. Use the request form to ask for a dentist referral.

Do you accept insurance?
We are not a member provider with any insurance plans, however most plans provide the same benefits regardless of whether you see an in-network or out-of-network oral surgeon. Your out of pocket expense will be the same or only slightly different. Therefore, it is always best to choose an oral surgeon based on your dentist’s recommendations, your comfort, and confidence, rather than choosing simply by insurance membership. For more details see the Fees and Insurance section.

Do you treat kids?
Yes. We see many children for oral surgery procedures including extraction of baby teeth, trauma, infections, or other oral and facial conditions. The team is highly skilled, patient, and caring when it comes to treating kids, providing a unique approach in their treatment that makes the experience wonderful! We also provide IV, IM, and nitrous oxide sedation for kids, and they are treated safely with any of these options. Dr. Kazemi has extensive training in pediatric anesthesia.

Do you offer anesthesia?
Yes, we offer IV sedation, nitrous oxide sedation (N20), and local anesthesia. Our office is equipped and licensed for IV sedation procedures in the state of Maryland, and routinely passes tough facility and provider criteria to receive these privileges. Dr. Kazemi is trained to administer anesthesia and follows strict hospital guidelines to provide anesthesia routinely and very safely.

Is there parking?
Yes, there is plenty of parking. Parking is available on the street and in covered parking garages a few doors away from the office. You may sign up in advance with ParkNOW Bethesda to manage the meters with your cell phone. Please know, they are strict with time limits here, so be aware of your meter times and rules.

How many doctors are there?
Dr. Kazemi is the only oral surgeon practicing and all surgeries are performed strictly by him. He has several surgical assistants that help him during procedures. There are never any other doctors other than Dr. Kazemi who will be seeing you.
